Euro-hemming is a hemming technique that allows you to shorten jeans while keeping the original distressing and top stitching. There are a few different ways to achieve this type of hem, but when done correctly the hem should lay flat and look original. The jeans in the above photo have been hemmed using the binding method. Can you tell that they've been shortened? I have samples available in my shop that can help you choose which method would work best for your jeans. Don't wear the bottoms off of your expensive jeans and don't trust them to someone who will just cut off the existing hem and stitch a new one. Jeans are an investment these days so get them professionally hemmed and they will look great for years to come!
Euro-hems are priced at $20 for skinny or straight legged jeans and $25 for flare or boot cut.
